Weather    Perfect!  Well almost. There was a bit of sunshine first thing and then for most of the day full cloud cover and a corduroy ripple. Surface Water Temperature at the Malling Shore was 16.4 C. It wasn't an absolute full Top Dollar Day but very close to it and the kind of day you would pay money for.

 

Remarks   So a tad disappointing to say the least. Not just the result but the relatively poor returns when the Fishery had been doing so well and with the good conditions. With the late start I did not get a fly in the water until 09.50 and I had 2 in the net by 11.00 and I was thinking a nice steady day was on the cards.    Wrong!    One other possible pull and that was that. 

Very well done to Steve for a great result and you know it has been a difficult day when Fred doesn't trouble the scorer. 

Another very good result for Ian and steady away for Cephas.

Well done to the Killin Boys on a comprehensive overall win.
