Weather  

Mostly very bright and very hot with a blustery wind – sometimes quite strong. Some partial cloud cover early on when a few fish were caught.

 

Remarks

A very difficult days fishing for both the locals and guests.   Everyone started on fast sinking lines but most of the fish caught were high in the water during spells of cloud cover.  Only 4 fish - 2 per club -  were caught, making the match a draw.  The company and the chat over the meal were excellent though and overall everyone had a great day out.   The only fish kept was a 1lb Brown caught by Willy Chisholm and donated to Jim Hume as he had returned his.
